I made some new prints for an upcoming
show at the Hyde Park Art Center called
Blaque Lyte. As you may guess from the title, it's going to be a show of all black light sensitive work, curated by crazy geniuses Paul Nudd and Chris Kerr. I drew these heads and screenprinted them with glow-in-the-dark ink (which also fluoresces under black light) and they will be installed in a vertical stack of 7 different heads, as a 7-foot-tall flat totem pole. Should be a very psychedelic show overall.
wow, these look stunning! awesome! besides, I love screenprintings on dark paper :)
ReplyDeleteHoly moly these are great! Hope to see you maybe at the curator's talk on November 6th.
ReplyDeletethanks guys! and jeremy, i can't wait to see your piece for the show. i won't be able to make the curator talk because that's the same day as we're doing the eyeworks festival this year-- too many exciting things at once!
